What will I do?

GG SN Role Descriptions 2024 Inspire Co-ordinator

• Keep great communication between you, your teams, your area office and partnerships. This will help align Girlguiding Inspire plans with Girlguiding’s wider strategies and plans for your area.
• Be a Girlguiding Inspire champion. You’ll suggest ideas and develop opportunities that can be supported at county level to help 18-30 year olds join a county, division or district.
• Help your county recognise the participation and achievements of Girlguiding Inspire and 18-30 young women in the area.
• Help plan Girlguiding Inspire events in your county, supported by other members.
• Go to meetings with your country and region coordinator and county commissioners when needed.
• Make sure there’s good communications from Girlguiding Inspire to members – such as via social media or newsletters. And that members are able to access opportunities, connections and resources.
• Update social media groups like Facebook and Instagram.
• Consult young women in your county and gather their feedback so that Girlguiding Inspire and its opportunities reflects their views and interests.
• Share ideas and support other coordinators.

• Participation in Girlguiding beyond the unit – At district, county or region level, or in an organisational or governance role in another organisation
• Office admin – Regular access to, and the ability to use, email and MS Office programmes
