Thanks and Recognition

by | Aug 3, 2019

Good Service Broches have recently been awarded to two members of the county:

Sarah Wilson, Keynsham Brownie Leader and Avon Valley South Division Commissioner received her award in recognition of her excellent service in different roles in the county. As Wansdyke Division Commissioner, Sarah played a big part in the smooth transformation of the division into smaller, more manageable areas.

Alison Cannon, Saltford Guide and Ranger Leader and County Duke of Edinburgh Award Adviser received her award for having the vision and then planning and running the three-week Great Canal Adventure in the summer of 2018. This enabled over 100 members of the county to experience life on a narrowboat and has led to Alison offering a residential opportunity on a narrowboat to Gold DofE and Queen’s Guide candidates this summer.

Massive thanks and congratulations to Alison and Sarah!
