GG SN Role Descriptions 2023 Peer Educator Co-ordinator

• To provide introductory information to girls/volunteers wishing to embark on the Peer Educator training.
• Raise awareness of 4 (Peer Education) throughout the County.
• To develop and implement a County plan for 4 (Peer Education) to increase the number of Peer Educators and sessions run.
• To support Peer Educators by signposting them to resources and trainings.
• To ensure that all Peer Educators are given continued support and encouragement.
• To ensure that a record is kept of all Peer Educators.
• Complete relevant training and ensure the wider team’s skills are up to date.
• To ensure that the County Commissioner and ACC Activities are kept informed about all girls/volunteers who complete the Peer Educator training.
• Promote being positive about Guiding and Growing Guiding.
• Attend Guiding Development meetings as required.
• Gather feedback on the effectiveness of sessions.
