75 girls from Bath’s South West District took part in a challenge badge day, where they got to try activities including a fitness session, making bath bombs, glittery slime, and unicorn pencil holders, and decorating rocks and unicorn cakes.
At the end of the day, the girls earned a special unicorn challenge badge, created by 41st Blackburn Guides.
As part of the event, Somerset North County Commissioner, Rosemary Kerr, came to present volunteer Ines Laidler with her 40 years service award. Ines has been a dedicated member of South West District for many years and currently leads the team at 21st Bath (Ascension) Brownies. Huge congratulations and thanks to Ines from all of us in Somerset North!
